It's the highlight of every afternoon when Macy Brooks arrives home from school! This year has been the perfect balance of alone time with myself, each girl, and them together. Soaking it in!
When Macy Brooks gets home at 2:45, Kate is snoozing, so we walk home from the bus stop and arrive home to a quiet house. We go to the kitchen table where we have a snack and look through all her work. She's pretty good at telling me lots of good details about her day. Then I work a little bit more and she either plays on the iPad or watches a 30 minute show. When Kate wakes we walk to see the horses, play a game, go to the Y or head outside with the rest of the neighborhood to ride bikes and play!
