Please Pray

If there's one thing I've learned from reading blogs it's that you can spread prayer requests quite quickly. So I'm posting a prayer request this afternoon asking you to diligently and fervently pray for a family that really needs it. I just spoke with a friend of mine, Karen who is the mom of the kids I used to keep and their family is experiencing a tragedy. Karen is married to Shawn and Shawn's brother is Chris who is married to Melissa-ya following me? C & M have a daughter who's around 4 and twin sons around 10 months old. This past Saturday, the family was at home playing and hanging out. One of the twins had pulled up and was holding on to the coffee table when he fell back and bumped his head. Instead of being okay like 99.9% of other 10 month olds that do this on a regular basis, he began having convulsions. 911 was called and he was taken to the hospital where the doctors found bleeding on his brain. His brain is very swollen now and is continuing to bleed. Surgery was done to remove some of his scalp to make room for the swollen brain.

Please pray specifically for:
-the family will lean on God as hard as they can and feel His loving arms around them
-healing of their son-for the bleeding to cease and the swelling to be reduced
-comfort, rest & peace for C & M
-knowledge and skill for the doctors who are caring for their son
-comfort for their other 2 children
-health of C & M so they can continue to be with their son in the hospital
-minimal out of pocket expenses and insurance hassles

GOD DOES DO MIRACLES! We need one here and now, please hear us.
